It was the week of our Intramurals when it all started...At first, I wasn’t really excited but when I found out that there were going to be these booths like Marriage Booth, Handcuff Booth, Blind Date Booth, Jail Booth and others... I was really thrilled and exhilarated. I decided that I would tease my cousin by paying for a yacuff with her secret love interest.

It was really fun to watch my friends laughing, jokingly angry, love-struck and smitten. They did get back at me by also paying for a yacuff with a guy that I don’t even like, his name is Kyle Balane, it was really, terribly awkward and uncomfortable...

The mechanics of the Yacuff is a friend of yours or even yourself will pay fifteen pesos for a three-minute hug from your love interest and if you want to cancel it, you will need to pay one hundred pesos. Of course, I don’t want to pay so I had to suffer the consequences that others planted on me.

Although, there were other booths rather than the Handcuff Booth, there were also the Marriage Booth by the Grade 7 and the Blind Date booth by the Grade 8. The system of the Marriage Booth is that you or your friends will pay for a pretend wedding for you and your love interest and the mechanics of the blind date is that you or your friends will pay for the date and the people working on the booth will chase you down. They will blindfold you and your love interest and you two will not have the ability to talk so the other won’t know it’s you.

But the most exciting is the Jail Booth, when the alarm goes off they will count up to ten and you will have the choice whether to run and hide or just do whatever they will tell you inorder to not put you in jail.

For me, the importance of these booths is that you can meet new fresh faces and be able to communicate with other people in an exciting way so you will be more comfortable to be around them. Those are the spices of the Intramurals to make The Foundation Day more thrilling...so next time you better also have to experience the Yacuffs and Handcuffs.
