For me, Elastic Heart is a masterpiece, one of the greatest music in our generation and it's not getting enough attention. Honestly, most of the songs nowadays is about bad things I just can't say and this is a very sad thing. Elastic Heart is a very beautiful and emotional song yet pedophiles all over the world think this is pedophilia, I know that the music video looks like it but it's not! In the video, Shia Labeouf and Maddie Ziegler are wearing skin colored leotards, I mean, do you people actually want them to wear colorful leotards? it just distracts the audience too much and secondly, it's what dancers wear. 

"The music video and the lyrics is about Sia and her father, Shia represents her father and Maddie represents Sia. It's about Sia's father battled with a lot of mental illness and it hurt Sia as well, thus the reason why the cage is there They are trapped inside the mental illness. A lot of the video is them lashing out at each other, and then trying to make it right again. Sia manages to escape the mental illness (the cage), but her father was unable to and is still trapped inside it. The end of the video shows Sia trying to pull her father out, trying to help him out of the mental illness, but being unable to. It's about the fact that she will always try to help him, no matter how hopeless it is. There is nothing pedophilic about this at all. It's ridiculous that nowadays, people equate intimacy with sex. This is intimacy between a father and daughter. It's not sexual AT ALL. To all the people sexualising it: Why don't you ask yourself why you are the ones sexualising a twelve year old girl???? "
