HEAVEN WEEK

Last week was the holidays, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ even though he was not really born on December 25. We celebrated our Christmas together as a family, performing dance numbers and singing numbers, playing games, giving food to our 2nd cousins and eating the wonderful meal that all of us had prepared. It was so heavenly, we did a lot of productive stuff and got to know each other even better. Then on the 31st of December, we all went to our other side of the families to celebrate New Year's Eve, we went to our other family on my mother's side, we had a simple dinner, telling stories to each other, having fun and at about 11:45 PM the fireworks started to blast off into the sky and we stood by the window to watch, we couldn't go up to the roof top since there may be stray bullets from the fireworks and might hit us and we'll most likely bleed to death or something. It got to almost 2A.M. when we left the place and decided to go home, we had a lot of fun but we know that it was all going to go away when school starts again on the 4th of January...

HELL WEEK

I did not like school, I didn't like the idea that they measure our intelligence by our grades, and I think sometimes they just predict our grade, I got that idea because I did a lot of hard work and I studied a lot but my grades were still at the bottom, but a lot of the students who were very close to the teachers who give them free stuff get high grades even if im working my butt off (i don't like sucking up to the teachers, i only become really nice to them when they've earned it). They're measuring what we learn by cramming the whole night, MEMORIZING all the things we need to learn for the test, we should be UNDERSTANDING what we learn and apply it on our daily lives, even though we probably won't use Algebra or the types of sentences in our life when we start a business and choose a profession. I would really like to change the education system, either the teachers start to teach the things we would actually be using in life such as, how to pay a tax, how to order online, how to fill your gas or things like that instead of teaching us letters and numbers we won't even use (i know that they're using those to train our brains but we won't even be using them, so why don't they just teach us something to train our brains and use it in the future?)... or as suggested by my friend, test each child while they are young to discover what they are passionate about and put them in that section of the education system so that they will actually be able to enjoy what they are learning and people would not criticize others by their intelligence because we all have our own unique set of brains (all of us are capable of great intelligence but when you teach a fish how to climb a tree, it will think it's dumb for the rest of its life).... After we go to school on the 4th of January 2016, we will may or may not have our 3rd periodical test on the 6th of January until the 8th.. we haven't even discussed everything we're supposed to cover, so please don't rush what we learn, at least make some adjustments so we will be able to properly understand what we're supposed to answer in the examinations...
